About Recruitment

The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is a prominent coach manufacturing unit of the Indian Railways, situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
It has since grown to become one of the largest coach manufacturing facilities in the world, playing a pivotal role in the modernization of railway transportation in India.
Currently, ICF is inviting applications for Apprentices.
Candidates will be positioned purely for Apprenticeship training and not for employment.
For candidates with an ITI certificate, the training period is 1 year. For non-ITI candidates, the training will vary from 1 year and 3 months to 2 years.

Salary

The stipend for non-ITI candidates will be Rs 6000 (10th pass) and Rs 7000 (12th pass).
For ITI certificate holders, the stipend will be Rs 7000.

How to apply

Candidates should have their own valid and active mobile number and email ID as these will be used for all future communications until the selection process is complete.
Candidates have to fill out the application online only on the official website https://pb.icf.gov.in.
Candidates must select the category, i.e., Ex-ITI or Fresher, based on their qualifications.
Candidates should fill out the online form carefully and review it before final submission.
After submission, the system will generate a Registration Number which will be the candidate's Registration ID. Candidates will use their Registration ID, date of birth, and password to log in.
Candidates have to pay Rs 100 as application charges online.
After successful payment, a transaction ID will be generated. Candidates should note it down for future reference.
