The Gujarat High Court has jurisdiction over the entire state of Gujarat. It has original, appellate, and advisory jurisdiction. The court handles a wide array of cases, including civil, criminal, constitutional, and administrative matters.
Currently, the Gujarat High Court is inviting applications for the position of English Stenographer Grade-II.

Salary

The salary for the computer operator will be as per the pay matrix of Rs 39,900-1,26,200 plus allowances.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidate will consist of the Main Written Test, Stenography/Skill Test, and Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview).
The Main Written Test will be worth 40 marks and have a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The paper will be descriptive, and candidates must secure 50% marks to qualify for the next round.
In the Stenography/Skill Test, candidates will be tested on English Shorthand/Stenography for 40 marks. A minimum of 50% marks is required to qualify for the interview.
The Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview) will be worth 20 marks. Candidates must secure 50% marks to be considered for the final merit list.
