How to apply
- Eligibility requires candidates to hold Indian citizenship, with eligibility extended to individuals from Nepal and Bhutan.
- Submission of applications is exclusively through the official SSC website, in online mode.
- Candidates who have completed their 12th Standard or equivalent examination are eligible to apply, provided they meet the essential qualification criteria by the cutoff date, i.e., 01-08-2024.
- Those wishing to apply must generate a One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in), as previous registrations on the old website (https://ssc.nic.in) will not be valid.
- Following OTR, candidates can proceed to complete the examination application.
- The application process includes uploading a clear, frontal photograph of the candidate without any headgear or eyewear.
- Prior to submission, candidates are advised to review and ensure accuracy of all information filled in the application form using the Preview/Print option.
- Candidates liable for fee payment must ensure timely deposition with SSC to avoid application status being marked as 'Incomplete'.
- A two-day window post-application closure is provided for candidates to rectify any errors or make modifications as needed.
- Candidates must specify their preferred examination centers in the online Application Form.
- The Computer Based Examination consists of two tiers: Tier-I and Tier-II.
- Tier-I comprises sections on English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness, totaling 200 Marks with a duration of 1 hour.
