About Recruitment

Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) plays a critical role in ensuring the nation's internal security, maintaining law and order, and safeguarding against various threats.
CAPF comprises several paramilitary forces such as Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and the National Security Guard (NSG) under the authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Presently, The UPSC is inviting application for Central Armed police Forces Assistant Commandant.

How to apply

Candiate should be citizen of India.
Both Male and Female candidate are eligible for the appointment Central Armed police Forces Assistant Commandant.
Candidate who re-appear finally or recommended earlier are restricted.
Candidate are advised to fill active and valid Email-ID in application form. Commission is use this email Id to contact and notify till the recruitment process is completed.
Candidate are required to apply only online on https://www.upsconline.nic.in.
Candidate has to first register himself/herself for the One Time Registration (OTR) and then fill the application.
OTR has to register only once in life time. If the candidate has already register for the OTP then he/she can proceed for application directly.
If candidate want to change the OTR details after registration, the he/she can do only once in lifetime.
Candidate can make correction in the online application till 7 days after last date of filling fresh application form. i.e. 15.05.2024 to 21.05.2024.
Candidate are not allowed to withdraw their application after submission.
After filling application form, candidate are required to pay Rs. 200 either through any State Bank of India branch or by using online banking.
Fees once paid not be refunded under any circumstances.
The eligible candidate shall be receive e-admission certificate on the last working day of the proceeding week of the examincation date.

Selection Procedure

The selection process of the Central Armed Police Forces will be consist of written examination have two papers Paper I and Paper II.
Paper I will be held on 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon and Paper II will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on 04th August, 2024.
Paper I consist of General Ability and Intelligence having 250 marks.
Paper II have General Studies, Essay and Comprehension with 200 marks.
Candidate who qualify written examination will be called for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.
Candidate who qualify above test will be called for Interview/Personality Test by the UPSC.
