About Recruitment

Jammu and Kashmir Bank, often referred to as J&K Bank, is a prominent banking institution headquartered in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.
Established on October 1, 1938, it has grown to become one of the region’s most significant financial institutions, playing a crucial role in the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir and the rest of India.
Currently, Jammu and Kashmir Bank is inviting applications for Apprentices.
The duration of the training is 1 years.
During the training period, only 12 days of casual leave will be available. In no case should the apprentice be absent for more than 30 days, including the 12 days of casual leave.

Salary

The apprentice will receive a stipend of Rs. 10,500 during the engagement period of 1 year.
They are entitled to conveyance up to a maximum of Rs. 1,250 per month.

How to apply

Candidates must first register on the web portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/candidate-login by creating their profile.
Then candidates must log in and complete their profile by filling in all required details.
Candidates must then click on "Apprenticeship Opportunities" and search for “JAMMU AND KASHMIR BANK” under “Establishment Name.”
Apply for the “Business Correspondent/Facilitator V4.0” position at Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
After successful registration on the apprenticeship portal, candidates must then register for the online examination on the official website or the link provided under "Apply Link."
Candidates must go to the bank’s official website https://www.jkbank.com and click on the career tab, find the “Engagement of Apprentices” link, and click to apply for the recruitment.
Candidates must first register by choosing the tab "Click here for New Registration," providing their Name, Contact details, and Email ID. A registration number and password will be generated.
Please provide a valid and active email ID and mobile number. These will be used for communication during the recruitment process.
If a candidate is unable to fill out the form in one go, they can save the form by clicking on "SAVE AND NEXT."
Click on the preview tab to review the filled application and click on "COMPLETE REGISTRATION" to finally submit the application.
Click on the "Payment" tab to proceed with the payment.
After successful completion of the payment, an e-receipt will be generated. If the payment fails, the e-receipt will not be generated.
Print out the "E-receipt" and application form for future reference.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidate will be based on an online written test.
The online written test consists of General Awareness & English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability, with a total of 100 questions worth 100 marks. The duration of the written test is 1 hour.
There will be a penalty of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. All questions will be objective type.
Selection will be made based on the merit list of the candidates.
