How to apply

  • Applicants are required to possess an active mobile number and a valid personal email ID for all communication during the recruitment process.
  • Those intending to apply in response to this notice, who have not yet generated their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new website, must do so, as the previous OTR generated on the old website will not be functional.
  • Following OTR, candidates can proceed to complete the application for the examination.
  • Applications must be submitted exclusively online via the official SSC website or the provided link under Apply Link.
  • The application module includes a feature to capture the candidate's photograph while filling out the form.
  • Candidates should ensure that the captured photograph is clear, depicting a full-frontal view without caps or spectacles.
  • If the captured photograph does not meet the specified standards, candidates are advised to retake it. Applications with photographs not meeting the standards are subject to rejection. Candidates are expected to resemble the photograph provided in the application form during the examination.
  • Candidates are advised to adhere to the instructions provided in the official notification while capturing live photographs.
  • Scanned signatures must be uploaded in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) with dimensions approximately 4.0 cm (width) x 2.0 cm (height). Applications with blurred signatures will be summarily rejected.
  • Before final submission, candidates must use the Preview/Print option to verify that all details in each field of the application form are correct.
  • Application fee: Rs 100/- (One hundred rupees only). Payment can be made online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit/Debit cards.
  • Candidates should ensure that their online payment to SSC is successful. Failure to receive the fee by SSC will result in the Application Form status being marked as 'Incomplete,' as indicated at the top of the form.
  • Following the closing date for online applications, candidates will have a 2-day window to make corrections or modifications to their online application parameters. They may resubmit applications after making necessary corrections/changes to their one-time registration/online application data, as required.
