About Recruitment
- The Border Security Force (BSF) is a paramilitary organization in India entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the country's land borders during peacetime and combating transnational criminal activities.
- In addition to its border security duties, the BSF plays a crucial role in managing and providing assistance during natural calamities such as floods, earthquakes, and cyclones.
- Presently, the BSF has announced openings and is actively seeking applications for various positions related to ITI qualifications.
- Candidates selected for these positions are entitled to compensation as per the Pay Matrix Level 4 (Rs 25,500-81,100) for Head Constable and Level 3 (Rs 21,700-69,100) for Constable, in accordance with the 7th Central Pay Commission.

How to apply
- Eligibility requires candidates to be citizens of India.
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online portal at https://rectt.bsf.gov.in. No alternate methods of application will be accepted.
- Before applying, candidates must undergo a one-time registration process (OTR) by providing essential personal information such as Name, Mobile Number, and E-mail ID. It's crucial to use active and functional contact details for the One Time Registration.
- Upon submission, candidates will receive their Registration ID and password via the provided mobile number and E-mail address. It's recommended to retain this information, as it's essential for accessing their profiles throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidates interested in applying for advertised positions can do so by clicking on the 'APPLY HERE' link adjacent to the relevant advertisement in the detailed notification.
- During the application process, candidates will be required to provide basic personal information. Once all details are completed, candidates can review their application form. - The selection process comprises three phases of examination.
- First Phase: Candidates are required to appear for an examination at selected centers. The exam is 100 marks and lasts for 2 hours, covering sections on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and Technical Subjects.
- Successful candidates proceed to the second phase, including Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Practical/Trade Test, and Medical Examination.
