About Recruitment

Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) operates as a laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation, situated in Bengaluru. Its primary focus lies in the research and development of aero gas-turbines for military aircraft.
Eligibility for B.E/B.Tech./Diploma (Engineering Apprentice Trainees) & B.Com./B.Sc./B.A./BCA/BBA (Non-Engineering Apprentice Trainees) extends to candidates who completed their regular studies in the years 2021, 2022, or 2023.
Candidates possessing higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Applications of candidates awaiting results of their qualifying examinations as of the advertisement date will not be considered for training.
Applicants who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training with any organization are ineligible.
Candidates with over one year of work experience are ineligible to apply.
Upon selection, candidates must sign a contract on the date of joining in accordance with Government of India regulations.
The duration of apprenticeship for the aforementioned categories/trades is 12 months, starting from the execution of the apprenticeship contract.

How to apply

BE/B.Tech./Diploma (Engineering) & B.Com./B.Sc./B.A./BCA/BBA (Non-Engineering) candidates must register on (https://nats.education.gov.in), while ITI candidates should register on the Apprenticeship portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org). Please refer to the respective websites for registration.
The registration number obtained must be uploaded when filling out the online application.
Online applications must be submitted through the following websites/links: rac.gov.in, drdo.gov.in, or the provided link in this article under the "Apply" section.
It's imperative for candidates to provide accurate details in all fields and upload scanned copies of all mandatory documents.
Qualifying exam marks should be stated in percentage. If the grading system is in CGPA, candidates must convert it into percentage as per their university's norms, which will be verified during document verification.
Candidates must bring a signed printout of the application along with the original documents submitted online at the time of joining at GTRE, Bengaluru.
Online applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Incomplete or partially filled application forms will also not be accepted.
