About Recruitment

The Border Security Force (BSF) is an Indian paramilitary organization tasked with safeguarding the nation's land borders during periods of peace and combating transnational criminal activities.
Apart from its primary border security role, the BSF also plays a pivotal role in providing assistance during natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and cyclones.
Currently, the BSF has announced vacancies and is actively seeking applications for various positions, including Mechanic and Constable roles.
Successful candidates for these positions will receive compensation according to the Pay Matrix Level 5 (Rs 29,200-92,300) for Mechanic positions and Level 3 (Rs 21,700-69,100) for Constable positions, in adherence to the guidelines of the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Prior to applying, candidates must complete a one-time registration process (OTR) by furnishing essential personal details such as Name, Mobile Number, and E-mail ID. It's imperative to utilize active and functional contact details for this One Time Registration.
Upon submission, candidates will receive their Registration ID and password via the provided mobile number and E-mail address. It's advisable to retain this information as it is crucial for accessing their profiles throughout the recruitment process.

During the application process, candidates will be required to furnish basic personal information. After completing all details, candidates can review their application form. The selection process comprises three phases of examination.
First Phase: Candidates must attend an examination at selected centers. The exam is 100 marks and lasts for 2 hours, covering sections on General Awareness, General English, Numerical Aptitude, and Technical Subjects.
Successful candidates progress to the second phase, including Documentation, Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Medical Examination.
