About Recruitment

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, Gujarat, is a Central Autonomous Body (CAB) established by an Act of Parliament.
Presently, AIIMS Rajkot is inviting applications for various Faculty positions.
The Faculty positions, including Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in various disciplines, are governed by the Act, Rules, and Regulations of AIIMS Rajkot.
The salary for selected candidates is structured as follows: Entry Level Pay Matrix 14A for Professor (Basic 1,68,900-220400), Entry Level Pay Matrix 13-A2+ for Additional Professor (Basic 1,48,200-211400), Entry Level Pay Matrix 13-A1+ for Associate Professor (Basic 1,38,300- 209200), and Entry Level Pay Matrix 12 for Assistant Professor (Basic 1,01,500-167400), as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

How to apply

Experience will be considered as of the last date of submission of the application, counted from the time of obtaining the qualifying degree or PhD.
Prospective applicants who meet all eligibility criteria must apply through the online application mode only.
Candidates applying for deputation posts of Professor and Additional Professor must submit their applications offline to AIIMS Rajkot. The application format is provided on page no. 15.
Online registration of applications will be conducted on the official website of AIIMS Rajkot, i.e., www.aiimsrajkot.edu.in.
It is essential that the candidate's photo, signature, and thumb impression are clearly visible in the preview during the online application process. If any of these images appear small or unclear in the preview, it indicates non-compliance with AIIMS Rajkot's prescribed guidelines, which may result in rejection of the application.
While no physical documents, including the online application form, need to be sent, applicants are advised to retain a hard copy of their online application forms and proof of payment (copy of online payment receipt) for their records.
Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected.
Only eligible candidates or provisionally eligible candidates will be called for verification of original documents before the interview. However, eligibility will be provisional, subject to meeting all requirements, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Interview letters will be sent via email, and the complete interview schedule will also be made available on the website.
Candidates called for the interview will be required to make a presentation on their work/achievements before the selection committee, with a duration not exceeding 5 minutes. The presentation should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint and should follow the prescribed format.
