The company is seeking talented, dynamic, and result-oriented professionals with a proven track record to join MSEDCL through GATE score as Graduate Trainee Engineers.
Graduate Trainee Engineers will have a one-year contract. Upon successful completion of the contract period, Graduate Trainee Engineers will be absorbed into regular posts of Assistant Engineers (Distribution) and Assistant Engineers (Civil) as per the Company’s rules.

Salary

The Graduate Trainee Engineer will receive a salary of Rs. 22,000 per month.
The Company’s contribution towards CPF will be deposited into the individual CPF account during the contract period, and Family Pension Fund Contribution for the Trainees will be deposited with the Employees Provident Fund Office as per Rules.
Upon successful completion of the contract period of Graduate Trainee Engineer, the candidates will be absorbed into the regular post of Assistant Engineer as per Company’s rules in the pay scale of Rs. 49,210-21,65-60,035-2,280-1,19,315.

How to apply

Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active during the entire recruitment process.
Candidates should visit the MSEDCL website www.mahadiscom.in and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE" to start the application process.
To register the application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id.
A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
Candidates should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent to the registered mobile number.
If unable to complete the application form in one go, candidates can save the entered data by choosing the "SAVE AND NEXT" tab.
Click on the Preview Tab to review and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
Modify details if required and click on 'FINAL SUBMIT' ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded, and other details filled are correct.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details in the online application themselves as no changes will be possible after clicking the "FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON".
Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with the payment. Upon successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated.
Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form. Please note that if the e-Receipt cannot be generated, the online transaction may not have been successful.

Selection Procedure

Candidates who have appeared for GATE examination in the last three years, i.e., GATE-2021, GATE-2022 & GATE-2023, will be considered eligible for applying.
Candidates must have qualified in the GATE examination from Electrical Engineering (GATE code: EE) or Civil Engineering (GATE code: CE) disciplines.
Selection will be based on the score obtained in the GATE exam.
